New Here?
Thank You for Being Here!
What to wear? Whatever you feel comfortable in – jeans and sandals, or your Sunday best. We welcome you as you are.
Who is preaching? Our Pastor, David Annett, is with us two Sundays each month. A team of retired and otherwise-available Preachers fill in the other Sundays. Check out the Calendar in THE CHIMES, our newsletter, elsewhere on this website, to find out who is preaching each week coming up!
Tell me about the music! Karen plays the piano, offering support for hymns, as well as a marvelous range of music before and after worship and at significant moments in the service. Her energy draws you into singing and makes our worship feel really great.
Where to Park? We’re only two blocks from the River on Union Street. Park near our building, or park near the river and walk to church so you can enjoy a local restaurant or Village events after worship!
Can I ring the bell? Our building was built in 1856 with a beautiful Steeple and a real Church Bell. If you check with the Preacher or one of the Ushers, it might be your Sunday to ring the bell right after the service!
Children are always welcome! We have a special time with the Children in the midst of worship.
Our worship is available online on our facebook page and simultaneously on the church website.
We have folks as far away as Idaho, Maryland, and as close as New Richmond and our neighborhood watching many weeks. We hope you will join us!
Cranston’s worship is scriptural and spirit-filled, giving Glory to God alone. Worship is authentic, as our leaders share their various gifts and styles, leading and encouraging all to participate. Our prayer is that as you worship with us, you may experience God’s presence and love.
We believe God gave us faith. What we do with our faith is up to us.
Cranston Memorial Presbyterian Church has been gathering on this spot for 200 years, and in this holy room since 1856. Generations of Christians have found their faith strengthened, their hopes encouraged, their passions shaped by the love of God in Jesus Christ.
Join us that you might understand what God has in mind for you!
